| After a bumpy start at Queensborough Community College, I finally got my act together when I met my wife, Barbara. We were married in 1967 and as I finished my degree at night we began our family. I finally graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York. We have five wonderful kids, three boys and two girls. The oldest (son) has made us grandparents three times (boy, am I feeling old) and the youngest (daughter) is presently in St. John the Baptist HS in the fall (that's where Walter Lace, class of '63, is principal!) I continue my career in engineering with Nortel Networks in Bohemia, NY. Barbara and I have lived in West Babylon for over 30 years. In 1998 I was ordained a deacon in the Catholic Church and spend most of my "free" time in ministry at Our Lady of Grace in my home town -- who wouldda guessed??? |
