After
DHS, I attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, graduated and pursued
a career in theatre and music (tv and radio commercials, offBway, summer
stock, cabaret, the Catskills). In 1973, I married my wonderful, beautiful
wife Louise and we recently celebrated our 30th anniversary.Using money
I earned from tv commercials, I opened a clothing boutique in NY. In 1979,
my wife and I moved to Las Vegas - we had enough of the cold and rainy
winters in NY and we hoped I could continue to pursue a music career in
Vegas. For a while I did: I was the lead singer in a band called Country
Fusion and we played most of the clubs and casinos around the city. After
the band folded I became a "mobile DJ" - hosting and playing
music at weddings, conventions, parties, etc. I started doing this part-time
in 1983 and haven't stopped since! I'll probably be the world's oldest
living DJ!

| Louie's Coffee Shop (anybody remember Paula the waitress? She was great!). Used to hang out there with my then girlfriend Pat Ilyes, friends Maddie Rossi and Dennis Leahy (still my best friend and still in touch after all these years),Carol and Tobey, Lorraine and Frankie, Tommy and Marilyn, etc. Also fond memories of the senior play I co-starred in with Pat Ilyes, Madeline Rossi and Billy Favata: "Professor, How Could You?" and Mr. Twomey, our director. Also loved the senior boat ride to Rye Beach. What a blast with "the gang". | ||
