I went to the first renunion and am sorry to see that the 2005 didn't make it. I will be at the next one, whenever that will be. Maybe we should look for a smaller place where we do not need to guarantee a large amount of people. Hopefully something can be arranged for this summer or fall. Count me and Joe Giaquinto (class of 1967) in.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!

I was all for the last one that was cancelled, but it was the wrong time of the year. I think the summer is the best time. Traveling is much easier. I know that I have more things going on during the fall and spring, then in the summer

I swear, this time I'll sign up and send my check as soon as you post the date!!I was really looking forward to the last one. Summer does seem to be the best time (although around the 4th of July is a little more difficult and expensive to get a hotel in the City),but fall IS the most wonderful time of the year

Ladies and Gentlemen,
As I review the passages in our GREAT website I know there is interest in another big gala event like the one we held in 2001. Yes, we're getting older but these types of nostalgic events tend to let us remember, if only for a little while, how great life was during our DHS days.
Why not let ourselves gather, one more time, so that the thoughts and memories of our DHS days can come alive again. A lot of the fun for me was in the planning of the 2001 events and I believe if we use our 2001 committee plus others from respective years we can get this thing going again. What better to do on a dreay winter day than to sit around a table and plan such a great event?
Let's get some idea's on the table for when we can get a meeting set up and make an afternoon or evening of it.
Get some suggestions for dates and times into the site and hopefully we'll be able to get the ball rolling on another major All-Delhi blast, again, in 2006.
I'll serve as the point person for '64. Who else is ready to volunteer for their year. I know Don will handle '65. Come on gang let's do it again, in style.

Ever thought of exploring regional reunions? You're doing a great job on a terrific service. Thanks!

I am really sorry that I missed the 2001 reunion as I was not even aware of the site at that time. Therefore, I was looking forward the the one scheduled in 2005 and was dismayed when it was canceled. I was down as the contact person for 1963 Grads for the 2005 event and will be happy to do so again for an event in 2006.

When and where is not a problem. As soon as I know there is a reunion I will make arrangements to be there. Hope to see you all soon. If it's possible to e-mail all of us when the date is set I think we would get a better response. The last reunion that was cancelled I didn't even know about it until just before it was cancelled - 02/19/06

I have now been in contact with a lot more alumni from 1970- they would definitely be up for an all school gala-we just had s small informal get together with only a few weeks notice and had a nice turnout-if people knew well in advance I think we could get quite a group together-I know I would be willing to help get it working - 02/21/06

Maybe in September as kids are back at school/college etc. Everyone back from vacation, should be a good time of year for most to travel for a long weekend. 03/18/06 - Posted 04/08/06

Just pick a date and a great bar in midtown NY and post a time in the PM when we can meet. Better having a couple of beers with old friends than having nothing at all. Informal, no committments of deposit moneys. If there is a turnout, then we can continue to post other dates during the year for similar meetings. It would be a start at least for the NY/NJ alumni.... 03/22/06 - Posted 04/08/06

Perhaps an informal get-together at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow some time in the fall while it's still warm enough to have a picnic and activities if we want. That way we can stay as long (or as short) a time as we want. 04/28/06

I would be interested in either a formal all-school reunion or a smaller get together. Either one is ok w/me. My class had a 40th Reunion two years ago but it seems the same people come out all the time. Would be nice to get some people we haven't seen in years. Thanks!! 05/11/06 - Posted 06/01/06

My name is Andy Ruggiano & I graduated in 1958. I live in Georgia but I would travel to just about anywherer in the country for a reunion, especially New York. The best time of year for me is the summer since my wife teaches high school. I would prefer a night dinner/dance, but a daytime picnic would be great too. You can count on me for the next reunion. I will keep checking the web site. Looking foward to seeing everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 05/18/06 - Posted 06/01/06
