Time is passing. Last year your father died and last month my father died. We are the grown-ups now and while it is vital fir us to live in the present (and, speaking of the presnt.I should now be packing for a weekend in the Berkshires before my wife gets home), it is good too for us to recollect our past and recall the events that made us what we are today.
