Okay, so the Heineken's over the years have dulled my memory
but I only remember going on the Rye Beach Boat Ride
in Senior year. Was it different before '65? Did some
of you get to go on the Boat Ride every year? There
were some rumors about a rowdy class that caused the Rye
Beach trip to be cancelled for a year or so? Any truth
to that rumor?
I recall having a great time the day we went, lots of music
and dancing on the boat and fun at the park. There was the
odd rumor that some of the attendees did have adult beverages
with them, but it was no one I knew.
I also remember to subway ride back. We held up the train
until everyone got on by keeping the doors open in the
last car. Some very fond memories.
