I guess in comparison my commute was relatively short. I lived in Rosedale at the time. In my first year, maybe even the second, I used to take the city bus. I cought the Q5A at my corner (pretty convenient) and had to change in Laurelton for the Q5 to school.'

After the first or second year, a new bus line, I think it was called the Red Bus, started. It too stopped at my corner but went directly to Jamaica. As I recall I did have to walk a bit to get to school.

On of the best things I remember, though, was that Mr. G also lived in Rosedale and every once in a while we'd end up on the same bus. I used to enjoy talking with him.

Another memory was on the trip home, I'd have to change in Laurelton and the corner where I had to wait for the connection had a Chinese Resaurant. Standing there by the kitchen vents was unbearable. I'd always end up ducking in and getting an egg roll for the trip home.

Peace,

Bill
